Car parks of the future
Car parks of the future will no longer provide a single use function but will hopefully provide a host of functions.
Currently car parks are often single use structures, simply used to park cars and often are situated in locations that may have far greater use potential. In the future, car parks could provide a host of additional uses, which will maximise the potential of the car park and the fundamental part it plays in the success of a wider urban development. - Storage facilities
- Helicopter/ drone platform
These additional uses can and will bring not only economic benefit but also environmental and social benefits. Existing car parks can in most cases adapt to provide additional uses and benefits to motorists and the wider community and new developments should consider their wider potential options.
