RAC Report on Motoring 2016
Concern over the availability and cost of parking has significantly increased amongst UK motorists, according to RAC’s annual report on UK motoring.
18% of motorists say the cost of parking is now one of their top four motoring concerns, with 14% of motorists stating the availability of parking is one of their top four concerns.
RAC chief engineer David Bizley said ‘Motorists are very clearly more concerned about the availability of parking than they were 12 months ago, adding that struggling to find somewhere to park could have a very negative effect on businesses in our town centres, whose viability affects the prosperity of UK high streets’.
